Looking for a good manager? Here are some incredibly important questions you need to ask.

Although Foci is now defunct, this was an old post from October 2014, that sat in the drafts folder. We are putting it up right now so you can learn from the mistakes made by many.
This may singlehandedly be the most important post you see in your music career.
Pay attention.

There are pivotal moments in your music career that you will find that you can no longer move forward alone, these moments will see you needing to build a team. This team will consist of an Assistant, Talent Manager, Lawyer, Business Manager, and Agent. One thing new acts tend to not take into account is making sure that each of the people they decide to bring on board is qualified for said position. Keep in mind that your manager will be the most important role you will fill initially, this same person should be well connected or at the very least more connected than you are to a wide range of people in the industry. This person represents you and everything your music and brand stands for, so make sure that there is a clear understanding of proper behavior, etiquette, and ethics. Their entire existence is to create opportunities for you to earn income, keep you booked with shows/appearances/tours, endorsement opportunities, etc. It’s a ton of work but it is also loaded with an insane amount of perks when done correctly. Below we have a list of tips courtesy of Jesse Jess of Urbanthreshold, as to how to find a good manager and the questions you should ask them.

NEW SHOW! We The West XII: Foci x 498theFam x Namek & More LIVE at the Airliner Friday March 13

Foci has been on an interesting one as of late as he sequenced his performance at the secret show in South Central on the solo tip live on stage. Choosing to move forward without a DJ is one heck of a decision to make but you’ll witness a very different kind of set from the man himself. This is his first scheduled concert in Los Angeles since September of last year and his return to The Airliner after over a year of not performing there.

This is definitely a very special night and there’s going to be a lot of things revealed in this particular show, so you don’t want to miss it. Also performing are close associates 498 The Fam and also Namek who recently opened for Tha Dogg Pound.

Be there as Foci hits the stage with decks, triggers, and his trusty TTM 57 and takes us all on a journey.

Presale tickets are available for $10 plus service charge if you purchase online HERE

Otherwise txt/call 626.872.3624 for the good ole cash on hand deal.
This event will sell out!

See you this Friday!!
